Tightening O-ring Fittings

• Inspect O-ring and seat for dirt or obvious defects.

• On angle ttings, back the lock nut off until washer bottoms out at top of groove.

• Hand tighten tting until back-up washer or washer face (if straight tting) bottoms on face

and O-ring is seated.

• Position angle ttings by unscrewing no more than one turn.

• Tighten straight ttings to torque shown.

• Tighten angle ttings to torque shown while holding body of tting with a wrench.
